The Korean Education Center in Malaysia would like to invite all Malaysians who are eligible to join the 20th Korean Speech Contest. Please look at the details below for more~

   □ Venue: Auditorium, National Library of Malaysia

   □ Date:

• Final Round: 21 June 2025 (Saturday, 12:00 - 16:00)

• Submission deadline: 19 May 2025 (Monday)

• Interview: 3 June (Tue) ~ 10 June 2025 (Tue)

   □ Eligibility(지원자격):

1. The contest is open to Malaysians whose mother tongue (or first language) is not Korean.

※Malaysia who working or living outside Malaysia is not eligible to apply for the contest.

2. The following persons are not eligible to participate in the contest:

1. Have lived or studied in Korea for more than six (6) months; and/or

2. Grand or First Prize winners of any Korean speech contests held in 2023 or 2024; and/or

3. Winner, 2nd or 3rd place in Korean speech Contest in Malaysia held in the previous year; and/or 

4. Have participated in any similar Korean speech contest held in Malaysia for the year 2025.

   □ Topics(주제):

1. 나의 최고의 순간/사건  [The best moment of mine]

2. 나의 인생 드라마나 영화 [My favorite drama or movie]
3. 소소하지만 확실한 행복(소확행)이란?  [What does the joy in simple things mean to me?]

※Please choose one topic to be submitted during the application.

   □ How to apply(지원방법): 

• Submit your application form by Google form [https://forms.gle/jnVXqdZzjEVLF6Kr7] or scan the QR code in the poster
• The application form can be downloaded at kecmy.com > Notification > [KSC] The 20th Korean Speech Contest (Attachment) or in the Google Form.

   □ Evaluation(평가):

a) Speeches shall not exceed five (5) minutes and shall be made extemporaneously.

b) Evaluation Criteria:

(i) Content and organization (ii) Pronunciation and fluency

(iii) Grammar and vocabulary   (iv) Stage presentation

   □ Prizes: included

• Special Jeju Trip for 1 pax (2 sets)
• Round-trip flight ticket to Seoul x1 (2 sets)
• Opportunity to participate Korean Language program in Korea
