2022 Recruitment of AKS Graduate Fellowship

AKS Graduate Fellowship is a non-degree program of the Graduate School of Korean Studies that invites foreigners and overseas Korean who are currently taking master's or doctorate which conduct Korean studies at overseas educational institutions to support educational and research activities for six months.

We are recruiting the following candidates to receive support during the period from September 1, 2022 to February 28, 2023, so please apply for it.

1. Contents of Support

A. Research grant: KRW 750,000 per month

B. Travel expenses: round-trip airfare

C. Accommodation: Guest house (Free of charge) 

D. Period of application: 6 months (September 1, 2022 to February 28, 2023)

2. Eligibility to apply: Those who meet all of the following conditions as of the start date of research support (September 1, 2022)

A. Foreigners or overseas Koreans

※ The term "foreign citizen" means only those who have completed all of the curriculum corresponding to elementary, middle, and high school education in Korea

B. A student enrolled in a master's degree program or in a doctorate program belonging to an overseas university. 

C. Those whose research topic is related to Korean studies

※ Preference to those with excellent Korean language skills

※ Past beneficiaries cannot apply.

3. Maximum number of people selected: 5 people
