In accordance with Article 28 and 29 of the "Act on Educational Support, Etc. for Korean Nationals Residing Abroad" the Korean Education Center in Malaysia performs the following
① Spreading Korean , ② Support Korean language school , ③ Counsel and guide Korean international student , ④ Support foreign international students , ⑤ Support other overseas educational activities

Step-by-step elementary Korean language course
Special advanced course (advanced conversation, Study-in-Korea preparation course)
Secondary School Korean Language Adoption School Application
[2014.10] Malaysian government introduced Korean as a second foreign language
[2015.9] Two secondary schools started Korean course
[2020.12] Establish a program to nurture native Korean language teacher in Malaysia
[2021] 11 secondary schools offer Korean course (currently)
Support International Students
Promote and support Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) program
Support multiple study abroad programs to students with outstanding TOPIK score and to students who learn Korean in standard secondary schools
Promote ‘Study in Korea Fair’ and ‘International Student Alumni Association’
Support Saturday Hangeul (Korean language) school
Provide textbooks for Saturday Hangeul(Korean language) school, and support educational activities like Hangeul (Korean language) school teacher training
Support Korean Culture and Korean Studies
Support Korean language, Korean culture, and Korean history courses to overseas Korean by inviting them to education program in Korea
Support Korean professor’s research
Korean culture Festival, Hangeul-day events, and Korean speech contest
