In Year 2014, Malaysian Ministry of Education introduced Korean language as one of the international language to be taught in Malaysian school. We are supporting them to let more schools can teach Korean language subjects.

• Article 34 of the Act on The Educational Support for Overseas Korean Nationals
• When foreign educational institutions or educational organizations operate curriculums, including Korean language, Korean history, and Korean culture, the Minister of Education may wholly or partly subsidize expenses incurred in operating such curriculums within the budget.

• In April, 2021, 11 secondary schools offer Korean class (65 classes, about 1500 students)

• Free supply of textbooks for Korean language classes from the International Korean Education Foundation
• Dispatch of Korean language teachers, Korean culture programs, selection of outstanding scholars, TOPIK fee waiver, etc.
