Good news to all of you!! The date has been finalised and we have extended it  to give all of our Korean learners enthusiasm to join the speech contest. Please check the new deadline below and share it with your family, friends and teachers~

   □ Venue: Kinabalu Auditorium, Menara Hap Seng, Jalan P. Ramlee, KL

   □ Date:

• Final Round: 3rd December 2022 (Saturday, 14:00 am-17:00 PM)

• Submission deadline: 8th November 2022 (Tuesday)

• Phone/Online interview: 10th (Thursday) ~ 22nd November 2022 (Tuesday)

   □ Eligibility(지원자격):

1. The contest is open to only Malaysians whose mother tongue (or first language) is not Korean.

2. The following persons are not eligible to participate in the contest:

1. Have lived or studied in Korea for more than six (6) months; and/or

2. Grand or First Prize winners of similar contests held in 2020 or 2021; and/or

3. Have participated in any similar Korean speech contest held in Malaysia for the year 2022.

   □ Topics(주제):

1. My Challenge when learning Korean language.

2. Malaysian culture that I want to share with Koreans.

3. The idioms OR words in Malay or Korean that I want to introduce to you.

   □ Evaluation(평가):

a) Speeches shall not exceed five (5) minutes and shall be made extemporaneously.

b) Evaluation Criteria:

(i) Content and organisation     (ii) Pronunciation and fluency

(iii) Grammar and vocabulary   (iv) Stage presentation

   □ Prizes(상):

1) Grand Prize Winner(세종임금기림): 

• Korean Language Class Voucher (1 year) at Keimyung  University.

• Samsung Tablet

2) 1st Prize Winner for each level (으뜸기림):

• Korean Language Class Voucher at

           i. Beginner: Hanyang University (2 Weeks); 

           ii. Intermediate: Sogang University  (10 weeks); 

           iii. Advance: Chungnam National University  (10 weeks); 

• Samsung Watch                                    

3) 2nd Prize Winner for each level(버금기림): Samsung Buds

4) 3rd Prize Winner for each level(추킴기림): Samsung Fits

5) Special Prize(돋움기림): 

• Korean Language Class Voucher at Hanyang University (2 Weeks)

• Samsung Power Bank

※ All final participants will receive a certificate, a trophy and a complimentary gift.
